PRS Orange Guitar From Brazil!

I am of the Brazil.
It would like to show one of my works, and if possible to gain access the areas of “download” and “tutorial”.

This is the presentation of this guitar, based on a PRS, with Wilkinson bridge, pickups SD JB+59.
Body in Brazillian Mahogany (core) , TOP Imbuia Burl, Caviuna Rosewood Fretboard,
Neck-Thru Construction. Dark Orange Cristal finish. Mother of pearl Inlay.


It would like commentaries on my work, I appreciate this forum very, although not to understand French.
People of U.S.A. always exist asking me on disponibilização of wood in the Brazil, then I go until reply the woods main ones here used (more common).

Which are the used wood more for contrução of instruments of ropes in Brazil?
For bodies - > Cedar, Freijó, Marupá
For arms - > Ivory
For fingerboards - > Santos Rosewood, Rio Rosewood, Brazillian Rosewood.

You've done a very great work on these instrument, your PRS is awesome !!! Nice woods, nice finition, well done !!!

To get access to "download" and "tutorials" sections, you got to be a "supporting member", which means to pay a 5€ adhesion OR give a "receive" of a donation to a "Non Gouvernemental Organization" (NGO)...

Many alternative wood in Brazil for the use in Lutherie exist, unhappyly the best ones are being finished because of the exploration.

I am a mere student of Engineering and my Hobby is as Luthierie.

very nice guitar Marcello, but you have to know that full download and tutorial sections are in french and that could be not easy for you to understand all. anyway there are great pictures in these sections.

Mahogany Blank (4m x 40cm x 5cm) = R$120 (U$65)
Cedar (Odoratta) (4m x 40cm x 5cm) = R$90 (U$50)
Marfim Wood (Ivory Wood) (4m x 40cm x 5cm0 = R$90 (U$50)
Imbuia Burl = R$80 / U$38 (suficient for 5~8 tops)
Purple Heart Blank = R$60 / U$28 (4m x 7 x .

I´m go to find a donation and comprove later...
